Our Rise Up for Justice Narrative Hub is a collaboration between a coalition of movement partners to produce daily-updated GOTV assets, which include image stills, memes, digital shorts, and messaging guides around breaking news topics. If you have any questions about how this narrative hub and content library will function please reach out to Sara Grossman at sara.grossman@berkeley.edu. If you know any other organizations or individuals with social media platforms who you think would also be interested in accessing this rapid response content, please contact Sara.
Fifty-five years after the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the right to vote is being subverted by domestic and foreign actors, federal and state governments, counties, and courts. The fight to vote has taken on legal, advocacy, and grassroots organizing dimensions in many parts of the country. As we collectively put our might behind the final get-out-the-vote push leading up to November 2020, and into January 2021 for the Georgia special runoff election, the Othering & Belonging Institute is excited to share a new open-source content library with high quality, quickly shareable digital content to enrich and expand your civic engagement efforts.

Protesting is part of the fabric of our country and a constitutionally protected form of dissent.
To dismantle a system that devalues Black and brown lives and make fair the rules that govern our lives, we are going to use every tool at our disposal.
We showed up at the ballot box. And we’ll continue to show up in the streets until our voices and power are felt.
Together, we can defend our votes and build a government that belongs to us all.
This year, a record number of Americans used mail-in ballots to vote. That's a good thing! It also means that counting the results will take longer than usual. It's all part of keeping our democracy and ourselves safe and healthy in a pandemic. Together, with a little patience, we will ensure that every vote is counted.
Election week and onward
This is about more than the presidency. All votes must be counted to make sure democracy works. Counting each and every vote, no matter how long it takes, is a step towards building a stronger democracy. This year has been rough for us all, and the pain is especially concentrated in Black, Latinx and Indigenous communities. What we all share is a right to have equal say. This right has been under attack for too long. We all deserve a government that works for us!#RiseUp4Justice #CountEveryVote
