We need volunteers to join our tax prep team. You don’t have to be a tax pro to help out, just a willing person who wants to see our neighbors get the proper tax credits and refunds they deserve.

At United Way of King County, we believe in financial empowerment, and we know what you get back in taxes plays a part in your financial stability. But every year there are plenty of people who don’t get the tax refunds they deserve.
Be a part of our Free Tax Prep Campaign where we do taxes for free to help our neighbors get the tax credits and refunds they need to build towards their financial goals. https://www.uwkc.org/volunteer/free-tax-prep/
Many of our neighbors are going through economic challenges and the need for tax credits and refunds could be instrumental for families to find financial stability in 2024.
Last year our Free Tax Prep Campaign helped 13,900 clients claim more than $13 million in state and federal tax credits and refunds. And we look forward to doing it again this year, but we need your help to achieve that: https://www.uwkc.org/volunteer/free-tax-prep/

Every student deserves access to a quality education. Wanna make sure that they do? Join United Way of King County as we advocate to make sure students who have IEPs are receiving the education they need to succeed by putting the onus on school districts to make sure it happens instead of parents having to fight an uphill battle to prove it.
