In December 2021, VillageReach began working with governments to launch vaccine sites, known locally as “vaccinodromes”, in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Côte d’Ivoire to increase COVID-19 vaccination rates and make vaccines more accessible. The following videos document the development of these sites and the impact that they are having in bringing COVID-19 vaccines closer to communities and ensuring equitable access to vaccines for all.
VillageReach is proud to share our 2021 Annual Impact Report and new redesigned website, highlighting how our work strengthened health systems through COVID-19 and beyond. In 2021, VillageReach achieved a major milestone: we helped improve access to quality health care for 58 million people in sub-Saharan Africa – surpassing our target of reaching 50 million people by 2023. We also supported 380,000 health workers’ ability to deliver products and quality health services to under-reached populations and assisted in the delivery of health products to 2,500 health facilities. We achieved these goals through using impactful solutions and strong partnerships to transform health care delivery to reach everyone.
We invite you to read our Annual Report, visit our new website and share our impact as we work to transform health care delivery to reach everyone.
Where you live shouldn't determine the quality of the health care you receive, but it does. VillageReach believes that another world is possible, a world where everyone has the health care needed to thrive. Please join us in promoting our first ever animated video to help people learn more about how we are reimagining pathways to primary health care and getting products to people to transform health care delivery to reach everyone. Our work increases access to quality health care for 46 million people in sub-Saharan Africa.
