Marijuana Can't. You Can.

HOW TO USE THIS TOOLKIT

In 2016, about one in five Washington 10th graders reported using marijuana in the last 30 days. In April 2018, The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) is launching a statewide campaign, You Can, the next evolution of Listen2YourSelfie  DOH's first Marijuana Prevention and Education Program to educate youth about the health effects and consequences of using marijuana. The campaign encourages young people to pursue their future dreams and immediate personal goals  and helps them to see that marijuana may distract from those dreams and goals. We'd like to ask for your help.

 3 Things You Can Do

  2. Distribute You Can materials. Print posters using the downloadable file below. Put these up on bulletin boards or in windows. Place the flyers in waiting areas and send them home with parents.
  3. Prepare your staff to talk about the campaign and the facts. Camaign talking points and a backgrounder are available below. Download these and send them to staff with a link to the rest of this toolkit or dedicate time during your next staff meeting to review them.
